Games you suck at and games you're good at?

Id say my stronger points are actually hack n' slash (Ninja Gaiden) and FPS (COD4).

Id say my weaker areas are probably car simulators, as they dont simulate a car to me, just a racer with dodgy handling mechanics. Im also stuck on 3's and 7's on Hard on Guitar Hero.
 
In my mind I am a gaming pro and I excel in every way at every genre.

In reality I suck at most games but enjoy them anyway :(
 
oh dear - i totally forgot how much i actually suck at RPGs

basically if a game has a massive inventory full of items that do undisclosed things that i dont understand - then i get lost and die a lot

give me an p90 and a sniper rifle and do away with your spells and all that other tat

[edit - bar maybe zelda ocarina of time - as this is one of the best games ever and i forced myself to learn how to do it - but it wasnt really as complex as more recent titles]

I suck at fps and rts but still like them. The only games I'm good at are Brawl where I regularly win the local uni tournament and mario kart where I had a 600/12 W/L record online.

Edit: Except for CoD4, for some reason that's incredibly easy online for both consoles and PC.

Poor Krono, this threads taunts him. The poor guy is probably staring into space right now trying to think of a game he doesn't suck at.
 
I suck at Football Manager even though I live for football and I really want to be good at it, I just don't have the patience with it to really explore the tactics.

I've always been pretty good in a FPS environment just moved over to FPS on the PS3 with COD4 and getting the hang of that. I'm very average at fighting games. Love strategy games and RPG - probably my forte.
 
I suck at 2D beat em ups, I mean i am ok after some practice but i am not brilliant, and i know i will get torn apart online.

I am ok at racing games, especially at mario kart, picked up the new one on Wii and I can win the races straight away first go.

FPS on the PC i am pretty good at, proven too, played in a clan online for 3 years.

RPG i am a god at, give me time and i will level out all characters and collect and beat everything in the game.
 
I used to be very good at BF2:MC on the 360 (pretty much always coming first in the match I was in (ranked)).

For some reason (which I can't remember) I stopped playing it for a while, when I went back to it I sucked.

RB6:Vegas is another game that I used to be very good at online but again due to lack of actually playing on it lately I am not as good as I once was.
 
I'm pro at all Tony Hawks games, and games like Hitman, MGS.

I'm not very good at games like Oblivion, I complete the single player but have no idea about the skills and levels and all that. I also lose a lot in fighting games.

and I am well below average at flip-a-coin.


In fairness there are very few single player games I can not complete (Ninja Gadien exempt)

I'd say I'm very good at picking up games... and will be better than my peers for a week or 2. But after a few weeks, everyone has caught up and I get pwned.

If you suck at FPS games what does that say about all the people we beat in Halo?


Oh and I once played GoW ranked and was called : "The God of Gears of War" after I was last person on my team and I stomped all over the whole of the other team 3 times in a row (and they had the host).
So I'd say I was fairly good at that game... Only bettered by Alrik to be fair. IIRC I'm part of the OcUK Gow tournament champions team.
