Hi Guys

I'm looking for a budget upgrade
I want to upgrade my 8800 GTS, I only want to spend 100 quidish, give or take £20 so, whats the best card out at the moment for budget upgraders like myself (I will be using the 8800 for a second machine)...

Cheers guys for any feedback

For £120 you're only looking at the 4850, and i don't think thats a big enough upgrade from the 8800GTS 512 - not for a £120 anyway...

Yea hes right, it's going to be a whole lot of bother selling off your GTS and buying this one for not much gain, you should wait until newer cards come out and things like the 4870 to fall in price. I think the 4850X2 which is coming out soon should bring back the cost of a 4870 slightly.

4850 is the best card for the price.

Whether or not it'll be a big enough step up for the money is another question.
