Crysis Warhead - Gone Gold

try and back up your game files to your hard drive , then delete the crysis game , then reinstall the game from your back up , pain in ass i know , but try it ?
 
the only other thing about the game being short , come on guys it is half the price of crysis , was the cut scenes never seemed to tie in with what was happeing they seemed rushed, the game does look better on highest setting , but crytek has had a year to get this baby up and running smooth , with new gfx cards what should s*** one the ones that were launched when crysis was , and the game has not advanced far enough ..... they better watch out as ubisoft anf farcry2 is just about on there heels

So, is there any way of being able to permanently set this, or do you have to right click each time you want to play?

Also, is there any way of being able to play in dx9 with the Classic Windows interface selected?

Just drag the Games folder from the start menu onto your desktop then switch to the classic interface... Its how i did it ;)
 
Anybody else having problems with the Securom bit of the install? Mine says:

An error occurred during the online release date check. Click RETRY to try again.

If the error persists, please click CANCEL to abort the process and find a solution at the support website: http://common.ea-europe.com/warhead/warhead_cs.html

It is a legit copy purchased from purple shirts today. It's driving me crazy, I can't find anyone else that has the problem! :(:( The website it links is also usless, as you'd expect from EA :(

EDIT: Sorted. I had to completely remove my Commodo firewall, then install the game and then once done reinstall the firewall! It wouldn't work even just turning firewall off!

Agreed. As others have said, something doesn't feel quite right on Warhead.

Anyway, the second I got to the frozen bit, my fps went down to about 5 so I'm gonna try reloading it using DX9.

The bit leading up to getting on the sub was amazing though.
 
There is no way her PC runs it well in even DX9C with that GPU at that RES with no AA or other (if MAX means highest possible settings ie Enthusiast or even the lower Gamer).

She is obv joking. ;)
