Kazakhstan is an interesting place, in some regions there the people look chinese, are muslim and speak what sounds like russian. Also they play the Saz in kazakhstan, best instrument ever.

a lot of countries around that area are the same. Theres a genetic influence in that area from all over. Russian, Middle eastern.

When I went to Afghanistan, it was the same, a lot of people with blue/green eyes, also ginger hair which is due to the British invasion (not 100% on date) and the soviet invasion in the 80's which is already showing signs genetically in Afghanistan.
