Gib new halo now (Expects:"I want more original FPS etc..")

Microsoft owns the rights to halo, but there is no reason why microsoft can't let them make another halo game, letting them (bungie) use the halo license, as long as microsoft if the publisher.

While you're correct, i think i remember Bungie saying they wouldn't be making anymore Halo games. Could have been my imagination though.

You're probably right. I've not been following game news for quiet some time. Shame though. I can't see another company doing the halo series justice.

Looking at that screen, I'd say it is an FPS game.. probably one involding aliens.. maybe a Area 51 ripoff.

Just what we need, another FPS game. Might aswell make Halo 4 since it's one of the good FPS games to own. ^^

They have said numerous times that they have 3 projects on the go at the moment and seeing the viral marketing is Halo based it will be another Halo game (note I said Halo game NOT Halo 4!). The second game they have in production they have come out and said it is a completely new IP and nobody knows anything about the third game.

We've heard rumours for months and as time goes on more and more rumours appear and most of them seem to link to each other in some way.

So far I've heard that it will be a 3rd person squad based game based around ODST's.

*Note* The above is all speculation and has not been confirmed

I never understood the love for halo, or the hype surrounding it
I do play it online but that is because i dont have any other games to play online.

People compare it to Goldeneye and i can see how that changed the world and where all the loves comes from.
