I had hoped to regain a life this year.he managed 45k+ dmg earlier in a scenario with some of our healers playing their socks off

I had the same thing - the other night the queue on my usual server were really bad, so I made a witch hunter on a low pop server just to try it out. Did a few quests and got to level three, then the next day I found it had vanished - it's not a biggie, but I feel sorry for anyone who got any characters to a high level there and then lost them.
Not heard of this before from anyone in our guild and half of us have been in CB

I am having real problems just trying to get in to play the game at the moment. and would appreciate if anyone could remember what they did.
Bought the retail version yesterday. Installed it fine. Created an account. Got the confirmation email etc.
Problem 1 - I cant log in to the patcher. I tried a password reset (in case I had forgotten that). Nope.
Tried to go into account on GOAs website...seeing as maybe it needed me to enter in some credit card details or something..but....
Problem 2 - I CANT LOG IN TO THAT EITHER! I mean..the box that looks like it should be a username and password on the website box is grayed out.
If someone could offer some advice as to what I might be doing wrong, I would sure appreciate it. Its probably a stupid thing I am missing here

Started playing it yesturday, well what can i say. Its the best MMO ive played, i love it
Im currently a level 5 Chaos Chosen, hes really fun to play, and i feel theres a lot more to him later on as i advance through the levels. Ive done the first public quest about 7 times until i got all the best loot. Ive just come across another public quest so ill do the same for that one
Such a great game, but i think ive found a server where it aint one-sided so destruction aint always going to dominate, were pretty much even

My concerns at the moment....
1. Lag or unresponsiveness? The abilities, and their cooldowns/cast times never tie in - I find myself button spamming to get things cast. I'm guessing this is more of a latency issue...? How do I find out what my latency is?
2. Destro population/bias - this is my real concern, as posted. On my server (Axe Bite Pass), Destro dominate any RvR's through pure population, and they have the edge in Scenario's too....out of the 15 or so I've done, we've only won 1 on Order. Since the game went into full release, I've never seen Order control a tier on my server. The High Elf zone on my server is getting quieter, and I have concerns that people are jumping ship to Destro already....

I completely agree on the whole Abilities thing, it really feels weird to play but i've gotten used to it by now. The main problem for me in the game is that i simply don't feel that i have much of a chance as a Sorceress, i'm extremely squishy, i do deal out a lot of damage but if i want any chance of surviving against even a single mob in PvE i have to use gear that gives me toughness and wounds instead of intelligence, which is really what i should be using. 2 mobs at the same time = death in most cases.
In terms of population, on Karag-Azgal there are definitely more Destruction players too but Order wins most scenarios
I think a large part of that is that a lot of the beta testers and a lot of the ex-Daoc players went Destruction. Another problem seems to be that for some reason, the Order players just dont want to go out and fight in the open, even on our server which has a population of High (order) and Full (destruction) most of the time, that "High" population of order seem very reluctant to go and take keeps. Instead they seem to spend most of their time doing the instanced scenarios, like BGs in WoW.
I've really got no idea why that is, they certainly have an almost equal population to us, yet seem to be stuck in a WoW mentality (instanced BGs) rather than a Daoc mentality (RvR and taking keeps).
Also as you rightly say, some servers have Low-High populations, or Med-High. Although looking at the server list just now, there are also some terrific looking servers, Burlok is on High-High I bet thats a decent server, Eltharion (think it was that one) is on Full-Full. (having said that though, as I mention above, the population is no use if it spends all its time in instances instead of RvRing).
Not too sure at this point what they can do about the servers with big population imbalances. Maybe offer an XP boost to the lower populated realm on that server or something, but even then, would that be enough to make people stop playing their characters and reroll on that server, probably not.
I just wish Order would get out of the instances and come take keeps more often on our server, populations are reasonably even on it, pity they dont do it really. A few guilds do try, got to salute them for that, its just a shame that 1 Order guild can get 8 members together and take one of our keeps, while a lot of the rest just go into the scenarios over and over. Just doing scenarios isnt going to get you control of a tier, need to mix it up and do all the aspects.
