Best online shooter for pc?

Hi guys. So i am looking to get a really good, fun online shooting game for the pc to play with WoW. So, what is the best? I have no interest in single player, just Multiplayer.

Oh yeah except cod4 lol

That is the only one i have at the mo and i am not a fan of the pace of the game and the 1 shot dead style.

Sounds like Team Fortress 2 is for you then.

Aside from that there's Unreal Tournament 3 and Quake Wars but I don't believe many people play them.

Have you tried playing CoD4 on a non hardcore server? in hardcore mode, everything dies much more realisticaly, in just one or two shots. If you join a non-hardcore server, it takes more to kill a person.

TF2 and CS are probably the best, CoD4 is hugely overrated and has too much emphasis on Spray and Pray. (despite trying to be a tactical shooter)

Battlefield 2 is also good.

Not really-especially not on hardcore mode. In fact I've never seen a good COD4 player that did spray and pray. The only ones that do tend to lose...

Join a decent server with good players and there will be little in the way of spray and pray. Its the same in any game, if you play with newbies you will see lots of noob tactics being used, such as spray and pray. Play with decent players and it becomes much more organized and tacticle.
