*** Official Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning Thread***

i got my squig hunter to 8 on sea of dreams, then queues started. so i re-rolled a order geek priest man on some random server and i have to say, order is miles better. literally no queues and easy access to any RvR... plus im a healbot so i dont die much. w00t i never though i would go order based on beta, but its miles better if you have no ties to any clans and just want to game / rvr / pvp at will.

i just think its in a poor state at the moment and as a consumer im getting pretty ticked off with publishers 'release now patch later' mentality.

You can't seriously expect them to have a pin-perfect, bug-free, totally spot-on game on release?

Poor state my arse. AoC was in a poor state, WoW was in an average state. This is frankly superb for an MMO, and no amount of limited closed testing can prepare a game for millions of people doing all sort of different things. Bugs will happen, the real test is how quickly and efficiently they sort them out.

Gotta admit im getting a little annoyed with the queues. I have spent at least 1hr doing this today. And then ive been on for an hour or so before the server crashes again. Then its back to square one.

I hope they sort it soon. I started WoW on release so I know its not uncommon. But it still makes you annoyed that you cant just pick up and play a game you paid 30 quid for.

If people were doing raids they would be screwed for catchin up with guildies

Has anyone got ANY pot recipies? ive spent an hour going through everythign i have, not made a single pot of anything lol...

Give us a helping hand please :) .....

<ColiN>

PS - never mind, for a reason why im not getting anywhere, one of the stablising ingrediants is water, not more herbs lol.... silly me.... well, until next weekend when i get to play once more.

Odd, that site works fine for me on firefox, never had a problem with it . As for the the game itself ive just rolled a couple of Order characters on a quieter server and im having a great time! love the public quests and the RvR stuff seems good as well. Only tried Engineer and Chosen as far as classes go but they seem good, no crashes and minimal lag. Apart from the queues it seems like an above par launch.

Same here, sometimes the site is very slow to load, and they've disabled account management (again) at the moment but i've rarely had any problems with it not loading at all.

I wonder if it's a problem with some versions of FF or one of the add-ons?

Thanks Tombstone, patching now under way. Patching program seems very temperamental, took a long long time to get it to accept my details, 3 password changes... But I feel good now, soooooon my pretty, soon.

errr it doesn't mean that it is Firefox's fault. They have likely not conformed to the proper standards when creating the site and have instead conformed to MS standards.

Never said it's their fault, but it's their problem.

In the capture the flag scenario twice now I've been chasing flag carrier half way across the map while swinging at them only to get "Target is out of range" message constantly. Anyone know if that's an exploit or some invincibility buff and even if it is a buff it's a retarded thing to have in scenario.

I'm a bit distant in the screenshot only because I was looking for the printscreen key otherwise I was right on his ass all the way from our flag almost ;/

Getting sick of this, i C2D on the loading screen after the queues but my alts on other servers work fine

Is this happening to anyone else?

im sorry your arse is in a poor state.

i dont expect it to be perfect .. server lag, queues i expect.

i didnt expect things like not being able to get in a pvp scenario on a pvp game.

i dont expect a 22 lord at a keep to rubberband up and down a set of stairs aoe'ing the warband but not be targettable.

this is my experience with war.Others have had better or worse experiences.

i still like the game but i happen to think the devs have let themselves down and possibly opened the door a bit for the people sitting on the mmo fence to maybe give it a pass.
