Can I ask one thing? Why is it most classes at level 10 and beyond seem to have a siginificant amount of armour on them and my Witch Elf (and many like them) seem to look they rolled in a pile of rags and collected what was stuck to them. I get plenty of new armour it's just when equiped it's like a little bit of material :D

Oh and there is a quest i am stuck on, it's the third chapter zone for dark elves and you enter a cave have to speak some 'word of pain' and then interrogate (if i remember correctly) someone called Sabine Windweaver. But i can't find her, in the cave or outside. Anyone know? I just missed it and go on with other quests, but would like to know. I'm probably being dense and walking right past it.

You had to pick the bikini class, didn't you :p

If you're finding as bad as AoC, then i'm sorry to say that this game won't be for you. Although I guess you know that already.
The class you're referring to is a magus. They're defensive RDPS, their 'pet' is bound to its circle (Engineers turret) and their damage is calculated to work across pet damage and their own. If you want pure out damage dealer, go for sorceress.

I think its more that the class i have picked is quite frustrating, i also dont like the fact i float on a disk rather than running.

Its a little frustrating with everyone clambering after the same quests due to everyone starting, im sure that will level out. I do like spellcasting in these games but i also like fancy effects and my magus wasnt particularly enjoyable on that front.

Ill re-roll a new character tonight and give it another whirl.

What kind of classes do you usually play, ranged DPS casters?

I'm playing a zealot on karrag orrud, im level 25 atm. The class is really slow to solo with but the group aspect and healing aspect of this class is top notch! So just find a good group or a damage dealer and you fly through the PQ's or quests.

We have allready had some good keep seiges (tier2 and now tier3), I am enjoying the game that much my pre-order on wotlk is getting cancelled :D

If anyone is playing destruction on this server and is looking for a guild, nameless breed is recruiting all classes. Just speak to me on Indar

Yep, she is in the cave, kind of on the right , like the 2nd turn on the right I think. Towards the back.

Really enjoying the game so far. This is the first time i have played a game like this so it is a new experiance for me. People keep talking about rvr but i have no idea what that means, can anyone explain for me? thanks

Stands for Realm vs Realm combat. Have a look at your world map and you'll see areas in it that are highlighted in red. These are contestable, and contain keeps and other objectives that each side can fight over. Take over enough of them in the whole game world and you can attack the enemy capital.

You're also freely attackable by enemy players once you enter these areas, so be on your guard :)

In the strictest sense, RvR is everything you do that gains your side (realm) points against the enemy realm. In WARs case , thats everything, PQs, quests, pve, pvp, scenarios. It all gives your side points for control of the zones against the enemy, leading up to eventually being able to ransack their capital city.

Most people though use the term RvR to refer to the PvP you do ingame, be it in scenarios, in open world RvR or in the RvR areas within the zones.

Thanks for the info, i will hide in my home town until i level up a few then lol

If you do wander into a contested zone or play a scenario, you get bumped up to a minimum level for that zone / scenario. In the starting scenarios, for example, the min level is 8. You don't get the skills for level 8, just your health bumped up. Still a good blast regardless though, especially for ranged characters / healers.

It also gives you access to the renown vendors in town, which generally have better gear for your level than you'd get through questing / killing stuff.

Having loads of fun with my Marauder atm. Me and a friend joined a server with low waiting time though, because they were huge on all the other servers.

Currently on Mount Silverspear [EU][Open RvR]

Will end up rolling on a Eight Peaks soon enough, when it all calms down I think.

Eight peaks isnt going to calm down though due to "i'll make a char on eight peaks soon". When they open up the transfers i'd suggest the friends you have on eight peaks move to the server you're now on.

I decided to go on the Makaisson RP server due to the lower queues and it seems that the sides are pretty balanced just now, especially in PvP.

I'm only level 10 Chosen after a weekend of PvP (rank 8 renown) and PQ's since I started as a Magus but didn't like it that much.

What I like about this game is that there is always something to do whether it's questing, PQ's or PvP. The scenarios are a nice touch where you can join and leave at the same point so you don't have to keep traveling to some distant location.

Picked this up yesterday as a bit of an impulse buy after reading these forums. Pleased I did though!! I have played Eve since March 2004 and have just found it impossible to relight my intrest in the game. Warhammer Online has bought a brand new perspective for me to MMORPG's.

Looking forward to getting home and reaching level 10 :).
