Red ant invasion...!! HELP.........!

Ant Stop Bait Station

I've got a similar problem to the OP's & this seems to have done it for me. About £3 from B&Q for two little discs with a bait/poison in. You stick it near the nest with a brick or tile over it to keep the rain off. I think they carry it back into the nest & it kills them all.

I put one down 3 weeks ago & haven't seen any activity, no disturbed soil etc, since.

Do the Ocuk thing and get out an air rifle to practise your HEADSHOTS !!!!!!!!!!!!

WIth the lawn, nothing is better than annoying them then jumping up and down, plus it will keep the kids fit

leave the lawn mower running over the nest to suck/chop em up. Did this for a wasps nest once and it sorted it, not sure if it works for ants mind.

I would say use explosives and or other machinations of mass destruction but the simple answer is to get some black ants they instantly go about destroying the red ants nest and makeing slaves of the survivors then kill the black ants as black ants are easier to kill
