OK, so it's the *good* kind of change, but prior consultation would have been nice.
From the looks of it, it's a 4% inflationary payrise.
What's your opinions on the fact they didn't tell us anything about it?
Are people just assuming people are moaning or what?![]()

Most places do a yearly "cost of living" payrise, mines due too.
yeah most of us should be getting an extra £60 odd this month.

Do they? Most places I have worked have been discretionary based on performance of the individual and the company.
You work sucky jobs. It's not a standard payrise (based on performance), it's an inflation based cost of living payrise. They're not the same, although i'm sure you're already aware.
you sure its not just the revised tax stuff thats happening this month ?

Yes, i work sucky jobs....
The places i have previously worked were a case of 1 payrise a year. this was performance based. Both are rather large companies, not something with under 10 staff.
Well, my experience counters yours, and i know which situation i'd rather be in.
Really? What you do any how much you earn?
Thats a bit personal isnt it ?
I'm not defending the guy but i personally wouldnt like to disclose how much i earn. meh maybe thats just me.
