Just noticed this on bbc news, he's seriously injured after a plane crash

indeed, other sources say he is in critical condition with severe burns. Lets hope he pulls through :eek:

Cant stand Blink 182, but he is a pretty good drummer, didn't he consult for the drumming mechanics on Rock Band?

He was with DJ AM as well, those two having been working together and doing shows. From what I've heard their stuff sounds awesome!!

Update

"Both travis barker and adam goldstein (dj am) are currently being treated for second and third degree burns. Barker sufferd from burns on his torso and lower body and Goldstein sufferd from burns on his arm, and a portion of his scalp. Since both Barker and Goldstein are in overall good health and didn't suffer from any other crash related complications each anticipates a full recovery through healing and rehabilitation.
No further statements will be made at this time and an update of their recovery may be avaliable at the end of the week via their representation

He's a cracking drummer, he hasen't just played in Blink 182 either, he also played for Transplants as well where his drumming was good.

It's no so much "he's the best drummer"...It's just his style, he's rather fluid at times, hard to explain.

Either way, it is sad, and for some reason Musicians get into plane crashes and bus crashes =/...not that they choose to obviously.

But best of luck to him, hopefully the burns don't hamer his performance.
