Hello. Rarely post in here as I don't play that many games on my 360. However, I recently hosted a Guitar Hero III evening with some friends and to my complete disbelief and immense frustration, I could NOT get two wireless guitars to connect to my 360. Only one or the other would work, not both at the same time. I could use the 360 control pad and a wireless guitar together, but it just would not accept two guitars.

Surely, unless my limited knowledge has proven otherwise, there is a way to play Guitar Hero III multiplayer using two wireless guitars on the same xbox360?

Have you linked them both to that xbox? You will have a button on the side of the guitar to press and also on the xbox..? This will connect both guitars to one xbox.

As I said, I could have one or the other, not both connected at the same tine. I used you method described by yourself but to no avail. Unless there is a "special" way to connect two guitars I believe I was doing the right thing

Turn on guitar 1, then press the sync button on front of 360 and turn on guitar 2 and press it's sync button.

Oh here we go... :p Hehe.

Well, still no joy... I would say it is the guitars, or at least one of them, but why would they work at all? It's almost like they are competing for the same wireless channel / frequency... the first to connect wins.

Can find nothing online in particular to my problem. I'm really stumped! Guess I should try finding another guitar to try?

Let's go through this step by step and you can say when the problem happens.

Turn on 360 from the power button on the 360.

Turn on guitar ONE, press sync button on guitar, press sync button on 360. (Now connected)

Turn on guitar TWO, press sync button on guitar, press sync button on 360. (Should now be connected but I assume it doesn't?)
