Anyone notice about the ESPN news broadcast on Tiger Woods ? They are talking about the Ryder Cup as it happens IN the game !!! How bloody awesome is that !

Managed to pick it up yesterday, and I was glad to hear it included as well:).

Good game overall from what I've seen, decided to pick up the PS3 version this year over last years Wii version which I didnt enjoy too much.
 
I now have about 435 gamerpoints on this and spent a fair bit of yesterday on the online gamernet challenges ( or trying :p ) and managed to get the achievement for 5000 but can't see me getting 25000 or 50000 , it wouldnt give me the achievement yesterday for beating someones challenge that is worth more than 100 points :confused: no idea why .

go 2 down very quickly with all manner of funkyness allowing Creamer to win with some suspect shots....

Around the turn and it's back to AS :)

Then suddenly I'm 2 up :D

Hole 15, 4 yards from the pin for birdie, creamer in a bunker.

Dumped back to front menu signed out of XBL and EA Gamernet servers.

Reconnect to XBL, reload the game (wouldn't see my sign in otherwise...) and it has forgotten that I ever started the match against Creamer :/

To say I'm ****ed off would be putting it mildly :/

Unsure whether you guys know or not but the Firestone Course is up on Xboxlive for download. I don't agree with publishers releasing content this soon after release. It makes you wonder if they had the content finished and could have put it on the disc but decided to rake in more money from you. Well anyway, my love for the game got in between me and my feelings about this and I went ahead and bought it. Just thought I would let you guys know it is up. 600MS points by the way, so hardly cheap! :eek:

I agree mate but didnt realise this was up for download. seems a tad soonish, thanks for the heads up.
 
got this on the wii and love it, spent about an hour and half creating my golfer :D I suck badly at it just like I do in real golf (19 handicap). The putting is wierd having to swing rather than putt, but other than that its an awesome game and waaaaay better than the last TW i played (2006)
 
Got this on the 360 a few days ago, very enjoyable... think I'm a little too good at it though on default settings.

Managed to get to 8 or 9 under on a single set of 18 on my first few goes :-/

Very enjoyable game though...

Is it any good on the Wii? Can't help but feel that the Wii was made for golf games, but TW08 was apparently pretty poor on the Wii...
 
Playing this on the wii, have finished the Tiger Challenge and started the PGA Tour. I have purchased all the $30k clubs except the EA Diamond Driver because it is locked and says i need to reach Superstar status. Any ideas what i need to do this?

Really appreciate some help on this.:)
 
Just got my first Hole in 1 !

You guys are welcome to find it, i've named it Hole in one and my username is raymondlin :)

This is on the 360 btw.
