Is it wrong not to like clubbing?

The problem is that people call these "Clubs" clubs, when they arent. they are just the same as the bars, but they are open late.

In my opinion a proper club has djs, mixing, pillheads, lasers, smoke machines and loud tunes! :)

I dont like the first ones, although i do have a tendancy of going and making a tit of myself mortal, but proper clubs, ive loved for years, altough im starting to lose interest a bit these days
 
Nothing wrong with not going clubbing as long as you can find alternatives to meet and have fun with people.

The amount I enjoy clubbing definately depends on who I'm with though. I kinda stopped going a while back because the people I went with didn't make it particularly great and I'd always feel depressed afterwards. On the other hand boogieing on down and showing of some ridiculous dance moves will always make everyone laugh xD and it is really good fun if you're with the right company.

It does tend to be a certain type of person that doesn't like doing to clubs, though... There are clubs out there that cater to every music taste and pretty much every type of person - unless either a) you don't like people or b) don't like music.

This is a good point. To take it a bit further, very few people actually look good dancing but once you realise that it doesn't matter in the least you'll enjoy it so much more. I used to be quite self-concious about heading on the dancefloor and think people would be laughing at how bad I was which would affect how much I enjoyed the night - one day I realised that I didn't give a stuff and suddenly it was so much better. That's not to say that every night in a club is great but it doesn't half make it more fun when you can just let go without caring.

don't forget a lack of attitude, i.e. you can bump into the biggest meanest looking hardnut and you'll get a smile and conversation instead of a death stare/fist in the face!

I really hate the mentality that loads of drugs make a club good. Its like people flock to where doing pills is socially acceptable. Just take them anyway if you are going to take them and not have people around to hold your hand?

Saying that taking pills is pretty antisocial if you are in the minority, so there we go.
 
Crap club then yeah I hate them.

Proper clubs like the one below is a totally different matter tho.

Certainly not 'wrong' to dislike it, some people do, some don't. Personally I don't enjoy it, not a fan of the music really. Much rather have a night down the pub or at a mates house. Fan of quiet nights in with the missus too - oh god Im getting old ><

You can find a club that plays practically any music genre...

You can find a club that attracts any type of person...

I.e. if you don't like chart dance and R'n'B music and don't like chavs, don't go to a chain club... or if you don't like rock music and don't like sweaty teenagers, don't go to a rock club. If you don't like pretentiousness, don't go out in Mayfair... if you don't like the hip hop crowd, don't go to a club that plays hip hop music... etc. It's common sense really.

If you dislike *all* clubs, then you probably either dislike all music, or dislike people. You're probably introverted, which there's nothing wrong with but is something to be mindful of because you might have to make more effort to make friends and meet new people.
