Walked to the co-op on my lunch break

Asked for some Green Rizla (no tobacco, no lighter) just Papers.

Just a sandwich and green rizla...I did say "I'm just buying papers" when asked for ID...

Then he (A kid younger than I) gave me some patronising goof so i didn't respond, gave him ID and was on my way.

It's always after those occasions I think of the mouth full i should have given him, and that makes me sit here frustrated...

With their logic i should be getting ID'd buying a pack of A4? What is happening to this country.

He probably wanted you to react, so he could've refused and make you do as he said, giving him power over you. you didn't react, so I guess you won that encounter.

Hey

I think you need to remember that he doesnt make the rules, if he sells you a product that requires ID and you dont give him any then he can get fined on the spot and lose his job.

Its not that difficult to carry a card with your D.O.B on is it?

Although regardless of that if he did it like a prat and thought he was powerful asking for ID then yeah give him a mouthful.

I used to work for the Co Op and the staff hate it just as much as the customers do.

:)

Geez why does everyone seem to think shouting at someone will alleviate a situation? You got asked for ID, you had ID - what's the problem?
