Hello all,

Now due to the recent skateboarding pics and after wanting one for a while I REALLY want a fisheye now. They seem like so much fun!

Do Sigma do one that fits Canon? what is the quality like?
Many Thanks :)

EDIT: Seen the Sigma is more expensive than Canon, thought it would have been the other way round!!!!

No it's not wrong. I wouldn't mind one for landscapes and having a play. They can be very effective is used well, but equally they can be used very badly.

Canon one is about £400 - cheaper if you shop around!

I may hire one first to see if I get on with it...

He brings it over from HK to Scotland because it's tax free then sells them here. He's very reliable, good prices as well :)

If you don't want to break the bank there is the option of the Peleng 8mm fisheye. It's a fully manual lens but dead easy to use, quality isn't perfect but for £150 or so it's not bad.

Kerso's service is excellent, always highly recommended. And as mentioned, his stuff comes from the USA not HK.

I recently hired a lens from www.lensesforhire.co.uk for a wedding and was more than impressed with the service. Good value if you want to try something else.

I'd like a fisheye because it seems sort of mandatory for action sports photography and I shoot a lot of skiing in the winter but they are expensive for quite limited use.

i have a lomography camera with a fisheye. great fun :)
