... yes ! I am Bejeweled 2 !!

This is one of the favorite games of my wife and I can tell that I've also spent some hours trying to keep the score... This game is now quite old but one of the best of the "swap gems" series.

Hope you will love it as much as us...

On a slightly similar note popcap released their own Bejeweled 1 World of warcraft mod to play the game within World of warcraft.

Very polished and good :D for being unofficial and FREEEEE.

If you looked at it attentively... you'll see a short flash with Popcap logo during the intro. That's exactly the one you are talking about with in the v2.
 
Played it on xbox for bit, got addicted to that and also n+ (and COD4, Rainbow6v2, GTA etc). Then my b/f came along and showed me the outside world....
....and this forum.
