I just fried my first egg.

I made my first bacon toastie yesterday actually. I've never done bacon before. I didn't know what to do so I guessed the entire process. Something about a grill I think. I'm 21. I think I'll do bacon all the time now.

that's bacon on toast. not a bacon toastie =\

I find that olive oil is not good for frying, as it breaks down at too low a temperature and leaves a distinctive taste on the food.

I prefer sunflower/vegetable oils for frying... unless I'm frying mushrooms in which case I'll use butter on a lower heat.

It is.

Other guy did boiled eggs the other day, he never leaved them long enough and they where still abit raw so he nuked them in the microwave and they nearly exploded.

Are you kidding? You live with someone who can't even boil an egg properly? Is he retarded somehow?

My next mission is to fry mushrooms I loooove mushrooms, when I go down to Aldi's I'm gonna get some mushrooms  I've never cooked poached eggs, I'm sure I'll find instructions on the internets.

I've never boiled an egg before so I cant say if I'd **** it up buy my guess is just leave it in the pan for long enough and on a high enough temp, I like them when the yokes are still runny abit though for soldiers.
