The download is appearing in the stable release folder on the ftp so should be available from their site soon.

Its possible this maybe a beta as when installed the welcome page (http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/3.0.2/whatsnew/)
says "Thanks for helping us beta test Firefox 3.0.2"

Probably because it's not fully released yet, they probably haven't got round to updating the update page.

They haven't release it properly yet. Usually it'll come through automatically when they release it.

Make sure it isn't a candidate build - 3.0.2's been through half a dozen RCs already. Linking to the FTP is bad too.

Now it's been announced, automatic update should pick it up. There's release notes for 3.0.2 and 2.0.0.17 there too.

* neglecting the fact that it's crap, doesn't really speed anything up, leaves all sorts of crap behind when you uninstall it etc
