£100m, what would you do with it?

Pretty sure I've read somewhere that if you win the National Lottery you are offered financial advice which if you take them up on it they charge for and take out of your winnings. Euromillions is probably no different.

No. They will undoubtedly have people ready to advise you on what to do with it. You would almost certainly need a special account for that kind of money
Not sure what they do in this country but in the States most jackpots are put into a trust fund with annuity payments made to the winners.

I think Camelot have to offer free financial advice to the normal "big" winners. They also offer counselling as well as some people tend to go a bit insane when they win excessive amount of money :)

Also, big lottery payouts used to be only payable into two types of bank accounts. Coots and another, forget which. So you have to go to them as a new customer and sign up.

Well, quit my job for a start.
Bank enough to give me £100k a year from interest.
Work out a cut to give to friends and relatives and charity.
Start spending the rest.

you get the lump sum at once over here - none of this US style paid in small bits rubbish

as for what I'd do - prob buy a private island (20million), private jet(10million), town house near west end (10 million), big mansion in surrey with few acres (10 million)

there we go half of it spent already just to get to a stereotypical "millionaire lifestyle"

not even started on the super yacht.... houses for family etc...

Reckon I could easily spend 75% of it within 1 year.

Coutts? For investing £3m+ you get 4.80% PA:)

stop education.

put 98million in the bank, give my parents 1million + paid mortgage's.

buy some online friends new pc's spec of their choice (we have a deal).

and live very very well off the interest for the rest of my life.

oh and buy a spitfire after a month of saving lol

With £100mil, I honestly wouldn't know.

All I know is I wouldn't tell anyone. Well, at the very least I wouldn't tell anyone how or how much. Otherwise I'd expect a lot of 'friends' to come out of the woodwork.

Deffo.
A house, not a mansion but something in a nice area 400-600k.
The new GTR, an old mustang, an old charger, a new evo and some others.
Give some to some friends - I mean friends who were friends before I got rich.
Give each family member £1m each.

Just live the life.

Get a pet mexican.

Honestly?

I'd live in a luxury apartment instead of a house, cba with the gardening or paying someone to do it, if I want grass, i'd go to the park.

Budget - £5 to 7 Million.
Apartment in NYC, Barcelona, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Sydney

Budget - £5 - 10 Million
House in Beverly Hills, or there abouts in Carlifornia + Car (you need a car in LA)

£10 million for traveling til i get bored.

Then we'll see what happens after that, you don't need to carry money with that kind of wealth, just a American Express Black and direct debit to pay off balance everymonth.

Oh, and i wouldn't tell a soul outside family.

give a million in some sort of trust fund where they get the interest to my closest friends and buy them a house.
Buy a plot of land, design a house and get a building firm in. Then go on a round the world holiday for a year or until the house was finished.
Then start a American classic mopar car business. Which makes such classics but how they should be done, light weight, handle better like GT cars and have more HP than NASA could handle.
And grow my own veg and cook dinner parties once a week. Whilst having fun and living the high life.
