so glad I didn't pre-order this, was £30 in major supermarkets as of Monday compared to the £40 it would have been.

The last time I say this because I wont even sell this game on the MM such would be my embarrasement to pass it on to someone from here.

This is one of the worst games I've played on the 360, it seriously is utter utter ****.

The graphics are no more than a 5. The controls are beyond help. The targetting seemed ok in the demo because not a lot was happening but when you get 3 or 4 or more on you it's controller snapping frustration. I can be surrounded and go to force lighting anyone and the man will turn around and blast the ****ing wall.

Get to a tricky spot, well forget all about it and run away to the next checkpoint where hey presto the enemies behind just dissapear.

I can understand a pirate playing this for free but do not spend money on it.

The levels are poorly laid out, the enemy in the thrid level (felucia) are beyond crap. You can do a particularly annoying section to die 10 minutes later and then have to do the whole lot again.

I'd seriously doubt there is a bigger star wars fan on this forum than myself, so dont even think of using being a star wars fan as an excuse to play this drivel. It goes against every thing in the star wars universe written to date.

If Lucas had any thing to do with this **** it's finally confirmed he is a **** that seems determined to cash in and destroy every thing that made the story great.

Ah damn , I just bought it yesterday :(

You live 200 yards from me, if 30 seconds ago you didnt hear the smash as a controller went through 2 thicknesses of brick wall then somethings up!

The 3rd boss battle is doing my **** in. Its more luck than judgement.

Saw this today priced at £40 in a well known game store and almost bought it but then remembered the crappy reviews it has gotten from here, maybe one to rent but deffo not a purchase

Try a rental by all means by for the love of god no one spend money on this. I'm a game *****, I always buy cheap with codes quidco etc, hammer them out and usually sell at a profit. If a games totally naff I usually keep quiet til I've offloaded.

Not with this game, if I end up getting a tenner off the bay once all my fees have played out I will consider it a get out of jail.

i think its quite good. got past the first boss battle last night, im on the second level. i think >_>

ps3 owner here just to clarify, not had any problems yet with controls etc. overall a pretty goodgame so far.

Surely its not THAT bad?

I liked the demo, I can't see the full game being a step down from this really. Dannyjo having a bad day or somet? :p

Ive nearly completed this now. While i hate many of the boss fights(the fixed camera and most of your powers dont hurt them), the bits in between are great if you can cope with the controls. Its fun throwing enemies and objects around and blasting things with your force powers. Personnally i think the graphics are really good, the scale of everything is huge and very detailed, a lot of it is interactive too. There is pop-in though(most noticable on the toadstool jungle level), there are also loading stalls too.

Wise choice. I would never pay £40 for a game that has little replayability. No multi-player.

What about the boss fight on level 4 ish where you defeat the two at-ct's while fighting a load of snipers etc. Then when you kill them you trigger the boss. If the boss kills you, you then have to do the at-ct's all over again.

The boss fights are particularly cheap.

Try putting the diffulculty on the easier setting.

Yeah I have gone down to the middle one just to get through it and get rid. May as well finish it as I paid money for it.

I did the shadow guard easily on the 2nd attempy finding a cheaper tactic to use against them. I imagine on the top difficulty that section would be infuriating to keep having to do the AT-CT's over and over.

Someone tell me how the star destroyer got through any form of playtesting.

No skill is involved just a lot of luck with the worst targetting known to man.

i completely disagree with ya dan,

i really enjoyed it, but i do love a good star wars game (and i thought this was good)

Sure it had annoying elements, like the star destroyer and some areas with constantly respawning enemies, but overall i enjoyed the story, the gameplay and just think its worth a play :)

It is worth a play through on the easiest difficulty then return to your rental company, it certainly isn't worth a purchase.

The boss's are a challenge at times but mainly due to the targetting.

The levels are small, you can run through each planet in 15 minutes and then get stuck on a boss for an hour. The other dissapointment is you then re-visit the same planets again to make the level numbers up.

I've just got the last level to do.
