Star Wars: Force Unleashed Demo

I got this through rental on the 360 today and i must say, it is quite grim. Although i am just through the first wookie level, the amount of loading, pop in, pop out and screen tearing is ridiculous!
Is the PS3 version any better?
haven't experienced any pop in, pop out or screen tearing on PS3.

The wonderful and awesome village of Barwell :(

Ah good old bowel.. I mean Barwell. It's not that bad a place - Earl Shilton on the other hand, well, enough said ;).

Ah fair enough. Well I'm a bit of a Star Wars nerd so the fact the story was compelling and canonical sealed the deal for me :)

Im every bit as big a star wars nerd as well matey, which is perhaps why i feel its a huge let down, i doubt it would even get in my top 10 star wars games ever. The story is enjoyable, but the play is just so repetitive that its a struggle to get through it all.

Just downloading the demo for this.
I havnt played a good, new, game in a while, im hoping this will be good.
Otherwise im gonna have to continue going through my old, classic, games.:p.

seems to be a good game so far, but them big enemies ruin it in my opnion, whats with the finishing type moves? looks very half arsed down and crap in my opinion

not to mention the light sabre duels which are awful, the jedi knight series were much better.

other than that.. its a good game :p

Anyone else received this email?

Dear Customer,

I don't know what they expect they can do about it, I mean I doubt lucasarts would release a patch to fix this just because one retailer is a bit ****** off!!!

I would pretty much agree with Durzels summary of the game having played through it.

The Star Destroyer bit was so annoying!!!

Oh, those playing getting annoyed at losing half of the health bar being hit whilst StarKiller takes several hundred years standing back up again, I found that hitting the jump button just as you hit the ground results in him using the force to get back up immediately. Unfortunately I found this out on the last level :(

Overall, I think if you are into Star Wars you will enjoy it.

Well, that's twice I've turned it off now. Annoying boss fights FTL.

Love the story, but it's just not fun anymore. :(

I am just going to rent this now. Seems like there is nothing to do once you complete it.

Absolutely loved the game, but wish I had gone through it on Sith Lord for a start, I'm going to head back on it on Sith Lord in a few days and get it done there, too :) One thing confusing me is going back to level select and choosing a level to play...you can't replay the prologue, which sucks :(

Btw, to you leicestershire people, Ravenstone is where its at! :p

Just completed this and I thought it was really good. At the start I thought the cinematics were rubbish but towards the second half of the game I found it quite good and thought the voice acting was excellent for a game.

This is a platformer game, you basically follow the levels on a set route and eventually get to a 'boss' of some kind and then complete the level; for me that's not a bad thing I like simplistic games where I'm unlikely to get 'stuck' otherwise I get bored and end up not playing it. The physics are good, but bodies and objects fade away far too quickly after throwing/killing them. Sometimes the camera when dueling another Jedi/Sith can go a bit crazy, it seems to get stuck behind objects :/ The force powers are VERY over the top compared to examples we see in the films, but still VERY cool.

Overall I'd give this 7/10 - I will definitely be playing this again on the hardest setting.

Been playing for 10 minutes and this is **** poor. I get small pauses during movement and during melee attacks. I searched the xbox forums thinking I might have an issue but loads of others have this too.

What a pile of ****. One run through and then straight on the bay asap.

My copy arrived today and thoroughly enjoying it, its just been let down by the annoying bosses. Im stuck on the junkyard boss right now, he just kicks the living "waste product" out of me :(
