Sorry to hijack thread but I didn't want to start one of my own and it is on the same track.

Does anyone know where to get some Johnnie Walker blue at a decent price from and could they let me know?

why JW blue? i'd reccommend a better whiskey, like Bowmore or Laphroaig (i like Islay whiskeys!)

I use to think they where cheap but even bulk buying its expensive, you can pick cheaper offers from Bargin Booze and supermarkets, infact Asda Tesco are super cheap as each week they battle to out do each other, 2 x 20 cans for £16 is mega cheap.

I was going to suggest Costco.

I find they can be cheap on some items then expensive on others.

As far as i'm aware their wine and spirits are well priced. (According to friends of mine)

I only ever drink wine.

I have started buying from laithwaites online because their prices are sensible and thier wines good quality.

Supermarkets pricing is a joke - buy there if you enjoy being the victim of muddle marketing, price fixing and paying obscene prices. £8 plus for a bottle of Wolf Blass that should be less than £6. Half price offers that offer a £4 bottle of wine as half price because they have the brass neck to sell it at £8 for a long period of time. Bloody shysters :)

Similarly most high street wine stores with there criminally misleading 3 for 2 offers.

I've never found Costco to be much (if any) cheaper than supermarkets for alcohol. I used to buy Baileys quite often, and Costco was pretty much always the same price as everywhere else for it.

macro definately isnt cheaper for the major brand crates etc, was there 3weeks ago. Some of the prices were shocking.

Jacques cider is a good buy there, crates of 6 bottles for about £11, whereas at extreme best its on offer 2 for £5 in supermarkets(and they run out of stock FAST).
I like macro's clearance bundles where theres been a crate with cans/bottles smash and they sell the rest off mega cheap ;)
