I hope to hell this is a rumour going round, My mate just told me that hes heard gazza has been found dead in a Marriot hotel up here.

Gutted if so. Such a terrible thing to happen if its the case

He hass nobody to blame but himself. At least they didn't waste a new liver on him just because he played a bit of football.

The bloke was a true legend when he was in his prime. Its sad and such a shame that a man can be destroyed by drink in such a way.

How anyone can say "I hope he is, waste of space" is beyond me. I actually hope you die for saying crap like that

I have had many family members and friends lose their lives to things far more tragic that alcohol abuse, people who didn't "ask" for their condition, people who actually fought long and damn hard against their conditions.

So you can kindly "die" if you think that just because he was a good footballer, he deserves my sympathy (and/or someones liver so he can start again).

yeah wishing you dead was hypocritical. But as far as im concerned gazza wasnt harming anyone other than himself. How you could wish death on someone who quite clearly struggled with his problems is really beyond me.

I don't wish death on anyone, but it's hard to give the guy sympathy when he has gone for help many many times and threw it away. We all recognize his footballing achievements and that only makes the criticism on him harsher.
