:o 19k attendance. That's pretty bad even for a Wednesday night.

Not really a massive surprise though. There have been threats of match boycotts for a while.

If the other fans feel anything like the way I do then it's more despondence than anything else. I've just lost all enthusiasm for the farce that is our club.

Tbf to Keegan, Newcastle were probably at their best defensively for as long as i can remember during his last spell at the club.

Same old same old Newcastle. Let the game slip away from us then leave it too late to make a comeback. The fans get 3 minutes of hope that we might scrape a draw out of the fixture before the inevitable doom falls over SJP with the blowing of the final whistle.

We used to get away with it back in the day but we're a long way from the high days of the 90's... at least then we would play entertaining football while we were losing.
