Things that are annoying

I trusted certain mags for a while. AI used to be a favourite of mine then one day opened it up and they you have it. I asked someone and they said half naked girls are a selling point.

I would just like to know if one of these 'glamour' models (hmmm photoshop, airbrushing popped into mind) was asked their opinion on how they would feel knowing people feel **** about themselves and it's because of people like them, what would they have to say in response?

Overall the majority of half naked people in the media are women. Maybe thats why it affects us more.

have to completely agree with you and i'm a guy.

it's so much worse for woman, so so much worse. went to town other week and massive picture of almost naked woman covering this huge wall, was for ann sumners or something like that. on way there was a woman's ass in lingerie on the back of a bus, getting petrol outside the shop almost naked woman in newspapers, go to sainsburys/tesco, again almost naked newspapers and magazines, heavily photoshoped girls every where. the trouble is so many guys want girls looking like that, so the girls then see this and try to look like that, and then you can't go any where without a girl wearing the tinyiest skirt, smallest tshirt possible.

it is far worse for girls, which is why i find girls always complaining at this, and guys saying "it's fine it's not that bad, we have same with rambo, your opinion is rubbish" etc just further prooves how much easier it is for them as they have no clue.

It will be based on the percentage of textures/music loaded into memory etc, so it is an accurate percentage bar, just not percentage of time.
 
My list of annoyances...

1. Switching the tv on and it goes into standby. The remote is nowhere to be seen.
2. Plugging the hoover into the mains socket and it starts up right away, making me jump.
3. Opening a door and it catches on a carpet on the other side, meaning you have to figure out a way of un-jamming it.
4. The electric meter running out of credit, and not being able to find a torch.
5. People at the bank machine that put their card in twice. Im behind them in the que.
6. People that dont use all the petrol pumps, meaning your waiting to fill up when there are other pumps that you 'could' use, but you can't get to them, because these idiots are in the way.
7. Drivers that sit on your ass. Drivers that drive too slow.
8. Foreign call centre's.
9. Soaps. Corrie, emerdale, eastenders. They all have their fair share of nice looking ladies though.
10. Technology. Dvd and cd players mostly. A cd or dvd works fine one month, next month it wont work no matter what you try it in.

Sky TV - for apparantly cancelling my account, but apparantly not cancelled so being charged for a month of NOTHING, then acting on the phone as if it is my fault.

People who say "ermmm" and "eerrrrr" when in a conversation with somebody over the phone. This is especially annoying when you know that they know EXACTLY what they are going to say and its just out of bad habit.

In no particular order:
  • When it rains on holiday.
  • Kerry Katona.
  • Jordan & Peter Andre.
  • Bad customer service.
  • know-it-alls.
  • Having no money.
  • Having to get public transport.
  • People who walk around playing tinny music on their phone, WHY? We have headphones for a reason.
  • When something you need isn't in stock anywhere.
  • Smokers who light up anywhere without considering the people around them.
  • Using text speech when it's inappropriate (eg. on the forum.)
  • When something you're expecting in the post doesn't turn up.
  • Being stuck in a traffic jam when you have loads of other things to do.
  • When something doesn't work and you can't find what's causing it!

Just a few things, I have plenty more though :D.

What india?
Not being funny but reading about this it was only the lazy people who don't sort their recycling, then it was dumped by the indians after export instead of sorted.
I'll continue to recycle, some of it will get through, no way in hell am I throwing recyclables in the bin like a caveman.
 
People who walk down the right-hand side of the stairs in a tube station, in rush-hour, only to try and take the left exit when they get to the bottom, causing massive traffic jams :mad:

Male - perhaps meaning I can't fully appreciate what its like to be female regarding the situation. Nevertheless my opinion still stands. I shouldn't have to be asian to comment on troubles of life in an ethnic minority, although at least then I could have another point of view.

I just don't like the fact people may think 'I look good, I have my **** out, but I don't care that it may make other people feel bad as they have low self esteem/confidence etc'.

I'm only 21 and it annoys me so much. The worst thing is that when you have younger people in the family they are subject to seeing things as you can't actually hide everything from their eyes and they think its normal.

For my nieces to see girls with hardly anything on advertised on TV's etc and question it when they are still very young. It's hard to explain...I will stop now.

But something else now not as meaningful - sprouts. Can't stand them.
