Logitech QuickCam E1000 - have you got one?

It's on offer down the highstreets for under £9 and I can't find any reviews of it. It's a cracking offer and I'm thinking of getting one for use with my girlfriend. Anyone have one? What do you think?

Using it over msn messenger and skype.
It says 1.3MP but it's got a tiny 300k sensor which is interpolated. How's that compared to a typical 20-30 odd quid Logitech QuickCam?

I brought my myself a few weeks back. Its a nice little camera and works perfectly with Vista x64. Strangly enough though its not listed on the Logitech website :confused:

Tell me about it, it's like it's a strange object that Logitech don't want recognition for... I'm with Vista 32 and I've seen the packaging, supposedly will work. I'm just worried about the quality as I've seen some really poo ones.

I might just have to gamble on this one.

Anyone else have one?

I saw that too, OcUK ran out of stock but my GF and I got one each now from another online store doing a back to college sales. Looks good reviews too. So not getting this cheaper one, eventhough it's half the price-ish.

1 USB connects audio and visual, better than the Logitech...

Those ones are surprisingly really good, my brother got one free with his Natwest student account

i have a vx-6000 and im not impressed with it. the picture in low-light is awful and the mic is now playing up. the motion eye on my laptop is a FAR better camera. if the vx-6000 is the best of the MS cameras then id aviod them all together.

Thus far, the reviews are positive so I'll look forward to receiving it next week and have it a go
