Anybody else having crashes like rp2000 then ?

I've had a few races and it's been fine so far.
You don't happen to have installed a 7200RPM HD in your console have you rp2000? the reason I ask is when I installed a 7200RPM Seagate drive in my PS3 it kept causing strange lockups up in certain games.

Still playing here, no crashes, on my 60gb console.
Do you have any network activity going on?
Such as another demo/video etc from the PSN downloading?
That's caused problems with certain games in the past.
I doubt it, as I was downloading MegaMan 9 demo while I was playing, but it's a thought... or disconnecting from the PSN altogether whilst trying to play? (or yank the net cable out the back)
Or try a proper cold start?

I couldnt wait for this last week, but now I cant as im thinking I'd be cheating on my lil Sackboy if i dont play the LBP beta tonight (and friday, and saturday etc)

Anyone had any crashes or freezes yet?
1st go Crashed during loading screen (game freeze console OK)
2nd go Crashed after I looked at control options (console locked)
3rd go Crashed as I tried to enter game options (console locked)
Just noticed other people having this as well

Not had any crashes here, using a 40gb model.
No demo = stupid
I wont pay £11.99 for something without knowing what it's like first.

If it's worth me paying money for, obviously. And seeing as the series has fluctuated in quality, I would like to know what it's like first.
If it's any help, I've not been keen since the original PS1 game, and I love this.
Just buy it. I would be very surprised if you didn't like it tbh.
