I have myself a second hand Striker II Extreme, but it fails to do anything.

What i do get is lights, fans, hdd's all on when i press power switch but no display on my monitor!

What could be the problem here, having done all the usual taking components out repalcing them one by one and that, but cant seem to figure it out!

Any help?

Can you test any of the components in another pc.
Does the board need a BIOS update to work with the cpu you have installed.

no lcd poster at the back! and yes all components work on my p5k board

i think maybe it does but the board doesn't display anything on screen! so cant flash it really

sounds stupid but have you put the 4/8 pin power lead on the mobo? i had the similar prob as you and it turned out to be that?

lol did chuckle but yes its in there! lol

Oh and apparently it was an oem and what i got is what he got, but also theres a bend in the corner of the mobo not sure if that culd be the problem?

so you pressed the button, swapped the jumper to clear CMOS took the battery out, put the battery back in swapped the jumper back and pressed the button again?

who did you buy second hand off?

Whats the rest of your spec? It may need a bios flash if youre using a very recent CPU

Do the rest of your components work on your 680i board?

All my componenets work yes.
