Rules of the road for lights

I have mine on during the day to remind other road users that I have Xenons and, thus, are a better person than them.

Isn't the BMW enough, they don't really need telling twice do they? :)

they have a selector dial which u can turn with a watchmakers screwdriver so you can turn off the day time running lights :)

only on old ones, newer ones need the dealer to do it with vardis :(

I always have my sidelights on. Bike habit from having the headlight on all the time.

You can't have enough - I'm going to get one of those sharkfins next. If you've got one of those you are even better.

I'm putting one on the octy AND the bike.

Also I have sidelights on pretty much all the time, think I picked this up from my friend who's always done it. Also get hella-annoyed at morons who say "it's not dark I don't need lights to see" SMACK.

I see Tony Stark every day with his lovely little fairy lights. I don't like them, and his friend in his Darth Vader colored R8.

it's a good idea imo, like new bikes always have their lights on which i see as really essential.

Bad idea for all cars to have them on (which the EEC are trying to bring in) as it will make the bikes almost invisible when they have a car behind them to inexperienced and just plain blind drivers.

Also if it is brought in, surely it is going to add to the so called "carbon footprint" as the the engines will be working slightly harder to power them?
