Crysis Warhead - Gone Gold

what is wrong with crysis warhead is there a patch or something? i get dont send errors every 5mins ;( im on xp 32bit sp2 :| any ideas why i get so many errors? can't even complete first mission ;/

Definately agree with that, Delta makes your strategy much more considered which is all the more enjoyable.
 
The 3rd person cutscenes have really helped the story a lot. and the game play is much more intense that the original. am really enjoying it, but have yet to install crysis wars.
 
This is running really bad for me.
Overclocked Quad 9300 at 3.6ghz, 3870x2 and a 3850 in crossfireX
4 gig of ram at 1.1 on a P5E X38 chipset all watercooled so no temp issues
Granted I am running at 1920*1200 but with no AA and the second lowest setting its not even getting in the 20s, must be able to do better than this my system is hardly slow is it.
Maybee its the crossfireX it dont like.

problem with delta is you cant stand up in an open firefight, its mostly cloak --- headshot, though i cant imagine playing the later level on delta, especially the last one that would be solid:S

I've just got past the hovercraft bit on Delta and have only died twice.

It is probably just about to get a lot harder though.
 
Taking down the Koreans (presuming you aren't surrounded) is pretty easy in Delta (which I guess is realistic as you have a super suit and they don't :p)
Against the guys in suits its a lot more work, you have to be a bit more sneaky.

Am just at the entrance to the mine and defending the guys while 'Cupcake' primes the C4 is hard work on Delta - have just tried it a number of times but always get over run !

Will have to experiment with placing the C4 a bit better - as that kinda worked a few times in taking out the little aliens - if they get in close and lunge its bye bye mosta the time!
 
I just gauss'd the blighters, either when they first get dropped by the larger aliens with the scope, or when the get right up close. BAM!

The C4 was useless on that part, I just used what was there on the first wave, and stuck to the Gauss rifle etc like you said.

As an aside, anyone else get problems with the skin textures (especially in cut scenes) when playing in Enthusiast mode?
 
i used the scoped up gauss rifle, and grenades for when they get dropped in groups by the flying ones ;)


Gideon Lorr how well does Enthusiast work for you?

Not amazingly (at 1650x1080), usually around 15 to 25 fps (though there are extremes either side), but unlike any other game I've played, I don't really notice it is so low.

I'm preparing for the cries of "Oh yes you do" :p

Next time though, I'll just go through it on Gamer, as there is hardly any difference.
 
After the hover craft section go into the toilets of the bar on the hill to the right of the giant alien the koreans kill. Its the one with loads of little aliens around it. In there you will find a frozen frog on a book on the toilet. When you pick it up psycho says some thing like "Its cowman I found him" not sure exactly what he said. When you throw it down it explodes!

I found one of those too but the frog was invisible and on a book as well, it's the mine level in the ventalation shafts. He also said the Cowman thing when I picked the book up as well.

Weird wonder what it means.

Apparently its Calvin - 'Its "Calvin" from when Hobs would mistake "Calvin" for a frog on the "Calving and Hobs" comic books series.'

at least according to a vid description on youtube..
