The Microsoft Home

I'm waiting for the Apple home where everything is shiny white plastic or silver aluminium and every time you want to do something the voice of Steve Jobs announces: "Sorry Dave I cannot let you do that"

Oh costs a bit more too. :D :p

Wow. Seriously impressed. Looked really, good, I like the idea of using the mobile phone to detect presence, emotions etc - seeing as mobiles are so central to peoples lives.

Cooking area was awesome - can see lots of people getting into cooking because of that! Hopefully something like this will happen in my lifetime :)

Maybe I do not *need* an electronic read-out of my house's temperature, humidity etc, but I also do not *need* running hot water, if we can, and we can do it without actually destroying the environment we rely on (this is the tough bit, but we are getting better) then why shouldn't we?
I fail to see how this would have a positive effect on the environment? The only reason for all those gadgets is to improve efficiency of lifestyle. The amount of plastics and electricity (amongst other things) involved in the process surely has a negative impact on our environment.

I believe there should be a balance between manufacturing and nature. I'm not saying technology is bad. But I dread the day that concrete, plastic and technology outweigh grass, water and nature.

I'd literally stab a baby for an Apple House.
