Or JFK as NUFC.com have listed him: Joe ******* Kinnear.

haha :D

Joe Kinnear man... what's he done... managed a club that went bust, took Luton down...

Perfect for Newcastle :p

To be honest, I'd be absolutely gutted if I was a Newcastle fan... sure he's an "interim manager" but it isn't the solution that they need.

I think his last job was saving Forest from getting relegated to League 1 after only being in charge of them for a few months. A great achievement considering the state Forest were in at the time.

He has suffered from ill health with heart problems in the past but I think he is the sort of manager you need. Someone to get the team together and bring them through a rough patch, ready for the new manager.

We've lost four games on the bounce, we can't get any worse*. Any manager is better than Hughton, even though Kinnear seems pretty crap, and above all it's only temporary, Keegan will be back soon.

* It could get worse actually, we could have a manager who hates his own fans....

Kinnear is in charge for how many league games exactley?

If he looses all of them, could Newcastle be to far gone no matter who comes in?

Sunderland?

I did think that but I thought I'd err on the side of caution and assume a Newcastle supporters' instant reaction to their club being a joke wasn't for once to be to pretend that Sunderland are at present in a worse state.

Keane made comments about the players AND supporters expecting to just walk over Northampton, and voiced his disgust at both. I really don't see anything wrong with that. It's not like the supporters think they own the club like they appear to think up the road!

i think some fans booed keane and keane threw a paddy about it. Something along the lines of, he understands that kind of thing is part of the game, but he still won't tolerate being booed. Not really sure, he always seems to contradict everything he says.

AS for Kineer, seriously, they've lost 4 in a row, you literally can not get worse than that, so whats the downside. He has more managerial experience than the current caretaker manager so not sure what their is to laugh at. THe rumours are that its for a month, Newcastle should be being bought and Keegan + shearer are coming right back with new owners.

They play Sunderland in a few weeks, it could get worse than that.

I take your point about the fans booing Keane, but they were booing him because of the teams performance. Maybe they thought that he expected it to be a walkover, but as it turns out, he didn't.

Newcastle Chairman "I would like to introduce you to your new manager"

Fan "Are you Joe Kinnear ?"

Chairman "no I'm deadly serious"

:p
