John Mccain has really upset David Letterman, who is ribbing him at every oppourtunity now. Mccain cancelled when he was due to appear on his show due to the "Financial Crisis" that had to be dealt with that night. Mccain didn't fly back to Washington until the morning after.

Not a great move to alienate millions of viewers that Lettermans show goes out to every night. I'm 90% sure Obama is gonna win this thing.

Lol, as IF a black president is going to take office. All this talk in a previous round of a woman vs. a black guy! It's going to be the Irish fella who eventually gets in.

You underestimate the stupidity of Americans :p

The stupid vote would be for Obama as he changes his mind about all of his policies every few seconds. McCain might not be a JFK in the making, but he knows what he's doing , Obama is a clueless idiot frankly.

Is letterman all that popular anymore though? I was under the impression his viewers had been dwindling for years, he's also on stupidly late like the other late night tv and more than anything, is all there is on at that time of night. People flick it on while in bed just before sleeping, doesn't mean people love or hate Letterman, just all there is.

But having a go at a fairly old dude for not wanting to be on a show say at 2am, not get to sleep before 4am for a 6am flight to a incredibly important meeting isn't the worst thing in the world.

It's recorded at about 7-8PM so they can get all the editing done.

I'd have thought it would be pretty darn important that a possible president of the USA should be fit and healthy enough to cope with such an enduring schedule!

You can't really get away with it over here, it's everywhere!! I sure do hope that McCain does not get in - he'll die before the 4years is up probably :p
Obama is not overly impressive either - lesser of the two evils I guess.
They are just puppets anyway - so not really that dramatic who get's in.

The CIA will delete this thread. And then they will delete us.

If Obama does win I hope there is someone called Jack Bauer in his administration.

I agree with a lot of comments on this thread.

Osama looks stronger now than McCain (specially since McCain has tried to get involved with the rescue package and unless I miss heard Radio 4 this evening he was asked to leave the meeting!)

However, Osama, President??? I don't think the American public are really that dum. (and thats saying something!)

The fact you're calling him Osama just points out your own idiocy, rather than his.

The fact that your getting more caught up in my spelling of his name than the content of my post just points out your own idiocy.

And besides, I do think Osama (Bin Laden) would be a bad choice for US President!!
