Yeah that's the only problem they don't make/sell it anymore I guess if you really wanted you could buy second hand but then it is just a desk so probably best getting something else.

I have one of these, great desk and very sturdy though if you get it get the glass cover for the top as the veneer is pants and marks with the general everyday use but very solid construction!

Glass cover? Do you mind posting a photo of it please mate? On the Ikea site it says the desk is suitable for a 19'' monitor! Ive got a 24 and 19.

I've got the Jonas desk, but the one with the built-in drawers. It's a very nice size, and doesn't wobble at all.

Its a 10 minute job to change the pull out bit from one side to another, i found the veneer on the oak one a little rough, not sure if its just mine or if there all like that. I also used to have some ikea furnature in birch veneer and its very light in colour.

Cant really go wrong!

My desk is quite a generic one and when I bought it I'd seen it at least two other places, the exact same desk, I think I saw it at staples.

A few people from here have this desk as it was cheap and modular. Ive fitted a cupboard that matches it at the side. Not bad for the price but there are much better desks out there.

I spent a fair bit of money on Argos furniture over the years. Not the best quality but, for the price, ok.

Ordered a new fridge a few months back. Paid for express del as the old one had packed up. Took a day off work only to be told, with less than 24hrs notice, the fridge was delayed.

I accepted this, these things happen. Waited another two days, took another day off work. Again, with less than 24hrs, get a phone call to say it's delayed. Cancelled the order.

Wrote to Argos head office to ask them what was going on, and never had the courtesy of a reply.

Last time I buy from Argos - very poor customer relations.
