Hi All,

Just had a move around and now my cable modem is in a different place.

The cable that goes from the NTL/Virgin box on the wall is not long enough to reach it new home so need to buy one but not sure what i need to get.....the cable looks like a coax cable with f connectors on the end!!??

So do i just need to get a good quality sat coax cable and put some f connectors on the end or is it more compilcated than that??

Cheers in advance.:D

ps. have just ordered come Cat 6 cable to connect to router and desk top.

best to get some Webro WF100 cable which is a high grade digital cable coax as standard sat cable coax is not v good.

I think i replaced my cable with a shorter normal sat cable ages ago. I've just looked at some of that Webro stuff.

What advantages would it have over normal cable though? Higher quality of data?

Im guessing the better quality of cable would mean its less prone to interference. Which if its a long run, would be more beneficial. Same as if its running alongside power cables etc.
