Im just sitting here minding my own buisness, and the washing machine is making a huge racket!

Why has no one invented a new type of washing mashine that is quiet!???

We have a Hotpoint 'Super Silent' and it's pretty quiet. Gets noiser as it comes up to a service, though!

Well spinning an unbalanced load of 6-7Kg at 1000+ RPM is pretty difficult to do without creating noise
But as with most things you get what you pay for and the more expensive machines are better engineered and thus create less noise!

We recently got the HOTPOINT ULTIMA WT960,it is super silent,we were litterally standing right next to it and had to visually look to see if it was spinning,awsome washer

seriously tho, if the noise bothers you that much just drop it off at the dry cleaners. Bit costly though

You could try insulating the machine so it doesnt wabble around as much but its not worth the cost of a machine which makes no noise, no one would buy it because it would cost a fortune.

our Dyson is quite quiet i think.

There was a test thing in one store of the Dyson and a normal washing machine, definitely quieter... though shutting the kitchen door usually does the trick
