Do you freeze 'Bread'...?

Yes and yes.

If I think I might use the whole loaf in under a week or so I'll keep it in the fridge - otherwise it's straight into the freezer.

My mom used to all the time when we had a huge chest freezer, but there is not enough freezer space in my shared house to do so now.

It's in the taste man, the taste.
Tastes no different, although to be honest, toast has always been about what I'm putting on it not the bread itself, I don't often find myself hankering after a bread sandwich...

I live on my own and don't eat a lot of bread - I have to freeze it or I'll usually end up binning a loaf of mouldy bread before I've eaten a slice!

Usually freeze it and use it for toast. One loaf can last me a month!

Makes no difference. And as other people have said, even if it did make a slight difference once you have pilled a load of Jam or Syrup on it, it will taste the same. Talking of tasty bread, damn the bread I bought yesterday was good. Bought a big loaf of date and walnut bread and the baker had burnt it a tiny bit, which made it even better. I love the stuff. :D

I find that some breads when defrosted have a funny taste, but it keeps the bread in life for longer and you can just take out a few slices in advance if you need.

I'd rather have a slight taste that you dont notice when your filling is in than going to the shop for a new loaf every day.

I have to freeze my bread otherwise it goes to waste - would never eat a whole loaf in a week... although they are bringing out smaller loaves in some supermarkets so I read the other day... though these aren't usually that cost effective :/

Sometimes bread get freezer burn if left too long in there though.
