I'd like to get a Lian-Li PC-7F case, but am worried that there won't be as much room as I'll need.

What usually takes up the most room in a case, and why would one opt for a full-tower over a midi-tower, and vice versa?

what are you planning to put in the case?

My current setup, which is as follows...

x1 ASUS Formula II motherboard
x1 AMD Quad-Core CPU
x2 DIMMs of 2GB RAM
x2 8800 GTX cards (which are almost the entire length of my full-tower, horizontally)
x1 Creative X-Fi soundcard
x2 DVD drives
x1 Floppy drive
x2 SATA hard-drives (need space for 4)
x1 Turbo-Cool 850w PSU

... I think that's all.

Worst case scenio you may have to take out the HDD Cage & go for something like this

5.1/4 hdd caddy

Lian Li do make them just cant find 1 on ocuk at the mo

But the best thing to do is wait for some case reviews there test systeam will most likly have a newever gen of card 25cm+ & via the pic you should be able to judge if it will fit

Didn't think people still use floppy drives  :D

I'm going to buy this case and will put 2 radiators - one 3x120 swiftech on top and one 2x120 FESER in the place of hdd cage. Then will install atx mobo, 2xGTX280, sound card and planning 2xraptors + 1xSSD drive + slim dvd.
This case have planty of room!

Great looking case - love the 140mm fans and the pre-drilled tubing holes above the rear exhaust.

I do wish they'd get someone English to check the wording though!

Hrm... Maybe I should just go nuts and get a Lian-Li Armorsuit PC-P80...

I've been upgrading a lot recently, and barely have enough room to maneuver around my full-tower ALX chassis... So I dread to think what it would be like fiddling around inside a midi-tower!

I've got the PC7+ and apart from the hard drive arrangement its not really very different in terms of space (yes i know the PSU is at the bottom, the top pops off, it has 140mm fans, and water ports, but it basically the same)
I had to leave hard drives out of where my 8800GTX's fitted, but it still fitted in with the frame - so the sideways drives in yours should be fine. If not I've got the lian li version of the iceydock you lot mentioned eariler - EX-33B - well its not removeable, but better cooling. lovely. I really only bought it to through air through to the CPU better, but it works a treat.
If i needed a new case and had the money to spend i'd probably get one. love the 7 series. will be interesting to see how the new PC8 and PC9 fair up.

Is the PC-7FB even *available* on planet earth yet? Very few places seem to actually stock it, and those that say they do don't even have any in stock...

OK, I've only found 4 places in the UK on the net that apparently sell the Lian-Li PC-7FB case, but they're all out of stock.

Has Lian-Li even released this case yet???
