Just received my Datel tool battery so I'll be on CFW soon :D

I thought I may as well read the instructions that came with the battery to get any idea of how long I should be charging it for.

It says to plug the PSP into AC power with no battery, then insert the Tool battery to charge it - 1 hour minimum.

Is this the only way to charge the battery properly or can it be charged with the PSP off?

Thanks,
Craig.

Could I get away with doing my CFW install at 30% battery? The Datel instructions say 1 hour charging will do (30%)... or does CFW not run when the battery is under a certain level?

Whenever I upgrade my CFW to a new version it always refuses when I have less than 70%. So I always just leave it to charge 100% and come back when it's full.

For you, just charge it up to the max. It will be one less thing to kick yourself about if it does go wrong :)

Just installed CFW now, it went perfectly :D

Tool battery was on 75% and main battery was on 80%. I couldn't wait any longer! :p

Now to have some fun.
