Talk to me.

Quite fancy one of these. They are about 10k for a 45,000 mile example with a bit of kit.

Obviously want a remap as i want a quick car but the 140 brake doesn't cut it.

And I do about 18,000 miles a year. I know I know, not quite hitting diesel territory but I like the power delivery :)

I bought my wife a 140TDi S-Line and putting its rubbish damping (so poor bumpy road ride) to one side its been a good car. It's not quick but that was why I bought it really as she wanted something that stopped her collecting points like her MKV GTi and it's worked. On a motorway and for mile eating its a fine car but the BMW is nicer to drive no question of that.

I depends on your definition of quick. If you compare most cars to a super car, they aren't quick. If you compare it to a Bluemotion, they are.

Lard is not as good for you as olive oil. You have your answer there I think.

...actually that makes no sense at all but it sounded profound.

It won't be a "quick" car, even with a remap. Its a heavy car for a 140bhp diesel engine.

If you want a reasonably brisk diesel, and have £10k, get a 330d.

What's your opinion on this Para? :)

Actually, (waits for Fox...) a diesel which has been doing 10k a year, probably short journeys and the car will handle to suit? :p

I'd be tempted with that, looks clean enough. A car on a 23 day old advert is unlikely to actually still be available though :(

It's got to be within a relatively small radius of here too.

But yes, a large diesel engined rep-mobile only doing an average of 7000 miles a year. Odd.

No it isn't. It might be quicker in gear from 40-70, but it won't be "quicker".

A remap will take it to what? 185BHP, with around 410NM torks?

what are u on about we went to bruntingthorp up the runway side by side trust me his car is faster.
