One of those days...

Something smaller done today, just to clean up the rear at night i suppose and looka bit more... 'modern'.

Sorry for the shoddy pics, hard to take them when your stood at the front of the garage... with the door down :D

LED Numberplate lights. Not the cheapest set to buy, but they are the best you can get. They have a years gurantee, and a sensor in them so when they get too hot, the power going to them is dropped so they don't burn out, until they cool down enough, then the power goes back up to full :)

Hi,

Any chance of a link, where these can be bought?

Never thought of that before and it really does clean the look up a lot.

Gloss Black centre console is now fitted to replace the (rather tacky looking) silver one that was previously fitted.

Theres a Heatshield there :)

It covers the whole radiator from sitting directly infront of the filter :)

Haven't had any negative effects on performance, anyway :)

a "heat shield" wont stop the engine sucking in the hot air that has passed through the radiator

looks like a daft place for the filter to be located. car looks nice tho

Bit of a small update today.

After attending the McRae Gathering and seeing all the different sorts of "Tribute Decals", i wanted a similar one for Richard Burns, so i had this made up, i think its cool :)

Have you got the file they made them up from? Wouldn't mind cutting myself one to match my McRae one..

I'd love LED rear numberplate lights. I think they look superb and really modernise the car.

Same with LED brake/indicator bulbs... want them for mine at some point.

I have some on the Manta

Excuse the filthy number plates :D

Sticker looks nice Phil, in fact for you the whole car is quite subtle.

I'm ace at throwing money away but even I would struggle to justify £15 on number plate lights.

That aside, its shaping up to be a nice looking motor.

Yeah Ive just paid £2.50 or so for 2 new bulbs for mine and they look great.

Looks much better with the black, just hope the paint doesn't chip/flake with stones hitting it etc.

I'm now changing the black painted grill for the standard honeycomb one (plastic).

1) It looks the same
2) It won't stone chip

So that will be here soon.

Aside from that, no major plans now, possibly a new inlet manifold when GSR finish developing one, with a remap, and that will probably do, unless i find a bigger car in the meanwhile that fits our needs :)

Thanks for the comments btw :)
