Just over £1000 profit on the DOW rebound. Not bad for under 24 hours.

I got a £500 end-of-year bonus (delayed, for last year) and a £1k pay rise Not much you say? Well I wasn't expecting anything as I already received a £3k payrise two months ago. The delayed bonus also means we have another one to look forward to in about 3 months, providing they pay on time this time

I've had a mattress on the floor (well, 2 on top of each other) instead of a bed for as long as I can remember

Heh, don't know how you do it mate. I was getting so annoyed at the situation I ordered a king size bed to compensate. I get to sleep without my feet hanging off the bottom of the bed for the first time in nearly 10 years. I realise that's dull to pretty much everyone but me, but still

I got dumped a couple of days ago. Told I needed 4 new tyres on my car (£300+).

But my car passed it's first MOT, I've had a couple of beers and I have a a bottle of Oasis to look forward too. Oooo and Fifa is out Friday
