"The family" - Real life

Another show where a bunch of no-name idiots pander to a camera, showing off and trying to make themselves look interesting?

Wake me up when they start hiding the cameras in people's homes, and don't tell them until it's ready to air.

Because she parties? "Oh noeeeeeee, ****!"

Quite defensive.

Let's look at the facts. She is rotten so would have to make do with what she gets. Old men are usually desperate.

She's getting taxis when she's not working and her parents aren't funding her.

I guess I can sum it up in that I wouldn't be suprised to see a future family argument revolving around her being up the duff.

I'd disagree with you there. This is far more valid than the usual run of fly on the wall docusoaps. For a start there are no crew in the house at all, it's all done with small remote cameras. And it's not a day by day account of their lives with voiceover & talking heads; it's much more of a study into the family dynamics. They filmed it over 100 days & then chose story lines to show from that footage.

It is also a remake of the original, done in the 70 which achieved crittical acclaim as well as it's fair share of critics (mostly for the values some of the member portrayed).

I don't think they are trying to make themselves look interesting or playing up at all. I'd imagine that the producer would have cut anything like that out as it's not what they were seeking to achieve. I also haven't seen any of the doing the usual circus of talkshows & press appearances, which you would expect if they were only interested in the fame.

Tonights should be fun, full on brother/sister scrap, looked amusing on the trailer!
:D

Yeah was funny that, when he pulled her out from under the bed and she smacked her head, he turns round looks at the camera, then turns back and says sorry to her, should be a good'un. :D

SITTING IN A HOUSE WATCHING PEOPLE.... SITTING IN A HOUSE!!

OH THE DRAMA!

Its nothing like Big Brother, theyre going about their day to day life, and its actually quite interesting seeing how the dynamics of the family work, how the different family members cope with arguments and other things that go on between parents/kids/spouses etc.
It also helps that they are all bloody annoying in their own ways.
:)
