Tough one - Antec 900 Water cooled build!!

nope ditched the stock fans for some yate loons so that i can connect them up to a fan controller. Nothing wrong with the stock fans but made it easier to connect to a fan controller as the antec stock ones don't have 3 wires.

cool so are those yate loons on the rad then? Was the rad easy to put there?

yeah yate loons are on the radiator and also switched the rear fan to one as well - fairly easy to fit rad- it's a bit of a squeeze height wise with the rad as it covers the first 6 full bays. I then put the dvd drive in the 7th from bottom (3rd from top) bay and it's tight then!

Will get another picture of the rad in place without the front grills later tonight for you to show the fitting.

PSU on route back to holland tommorrow - £20 for postage but i suppose it's worth it just now as the old one is not a modular one so it's a mess at the moment!!

cool cheers fella. Ah well least you'll have a working modular. Some reason people on ebay have sent my screen to my old postage address, flipping ******* cant do out right!

jesus what a day - BSOD all over the show - no booting, sometimes boot, hanging, crashing - all sort going on. Need to spend sometime messing around to sort it out.

PSU heading back to Holland for RMA currently

why holland

i sold my antec900 as i wanted watercooling but there is load sof people with pa 120.2's in the front now but they do look cramped and case airflow must suck unless you use push pull fans

That's where Corsair RMA are - better than 4 months ago when it was the USA!!

Case temps are good but since i'm using my old Tagan psu current outside of the case it's hard to tell.

now your being loony!!

the 120.2 looks tight enough! lol
I know but I only have a 120.3 :D I can also mount my hard drive somewhere else...

I was thinking I could mount it in the front somehow, but I think the rad is a little too tall. :(

EDIT: I've just measured it and it should fit.... Wish me luck. :D

Well, I was gonna make a new thread but I thought it would be better to add to this one, as I'm watercooling the Antec 900 also.

120.3 is in! Plenty of room! :D

I'm gonna squeeze a my Sammy F1 in there somewhere... I normally suspend hard drives in elastic so I should be able to manage it. My DVD-RW is external.

Nothing special, just a Laing pump and Fuzion cpu cooler in the loop also, but I have a 160.1 rad which I'm tempted to place on top of the 200mm fan also! :D

I'm building this PC for quietness as I'll be using it for music production... Hopefully it should be done by the weekend.

lol sounds cool like:) you should get some good temps from both rads then, i have a zalman res 1 v2. Seen as that is a passive heater it has no noise, ive found thats great when recrding in the same room as it:)

Cheers, I was gonna do some more on it today, but work went on late and I feel too knackered. :(

Right now I have a 1/2" gap around the edge of the rad, would it be worth adding some foam or something like that to stop air going around the edge of the rad? This way all the air going thru the rad would be from the front of tha case...

I'm also working out some funky way of fixing the 160mm rad to the 200mm fan grill, I may even make a shroud... It's all in my head right now, I just need to actually do it.

Right, some progress: I've got all the watercooling plumbed in, leak free, and almost all the air bubbles are out. Now I've just got to find somewhere to stick the hard drive.

Any suggestions?
