Yeah that's confusing me, isn't a release date normally when the phone is actually released? So far nowhere has got any in and apart from wikipedia no phone companies are stated as having it available soon, which they normally do for new phones... :confused:

There are almost no reviews of it either (except a couple from a few months ago), why, when the phone has been available for testers for a while and reviews are usually available before the phone is released?

Ah, that's interesting. I didn't realise they had it on their site. I was looking at O2 and 3, and neither of their sites have it up in any form yet (that I can see).

Seems like I've been waiting for an ice age for it to appear. I'm desperately in need of an upgrade, my TyTn is a bit old (and battered) now!

Post on the Voda forums states phone is now on their upgrade system but no pricing information. X1 is now pencilled in for release on the 10th October for Vodafone UK.

I was talking to Vodafone today and they tell me the release date is 10th October on Vodafone. Deals etc should be available online from that date. Although I suspect it will be out of my price bracket.
