Was there any reason you guys rolled there and not Karak Azgal like everyone else?
I was actually going to roll up a char on Eight Peaks last night but it was full

I want to buy this to give it a whirl, if only I knew it would work over my uni network - it appears WoW is the only thing that does

All the awesome people are on eight peaks
Im on Eight Peaks, but only play weekends due to work so if you get on, its order side guild as destruction is too full to play.
I think all servers are full at the mo, bit anoying to pay for the game and you cant play it, even worse for me, i have to get up at 6am! so i can log in lol....

Prior to one happening its word of mouth, usually someone in our alliance will mention it in alliance chat. Once a keep is under attack, you will get messages in your chat box saying that such and such a keep lord is under attack, and the keep on the map gets a little explosion icon on it.
WoW was the same, I was still queueing to get onto Bleeding Hollow , 7 weeks after release !!
Both games appear to be victims of their own success
Also there are markers on the map that show people fighting, It 2 swords crossed, The first is a little red one, The last is much bigger and its gold. So if you ever enter a zone and see any big gold swords on the map there is a big fight happening. Last night i saw 4 on the map outside our keep. Which involved around 100+ people fighting.

That's not quite true, I'm on Karak Azgal
I may roll something on Eight Peaks this afternoon though.
When i was looking i just flicked around the world map looking for a blue castle with an explosion on it. As soon as i landed in that area, i looked for a warband and hey presto instant keep fun :]
It's also announced too - in blue in the chat window.
Personal opinion of course, so everyones is different. But I personally find it has more in common with Daoc than WoW. Aesthetics aside.
Can't say i've noticed it. Maybe i logged in after it had started.
wow clone as in the interface and its a fantasy online game. but its better in the ways that matter, although if you dont like PvP at all, maybe not for you as the PvE is there, but the game is geared around PvP more.
PvP in this game is fun though so that helps, not seen anything like a one shot kill yet or that silly rogue move of stun the whole fight.
Think of it was WoW with better class structure and better PvP and slightly better graphics.

^^Says it all really.
I have a dozen or so characters all around 10 to 15, all levelled on nothing but RvR scenarios and the odd PQ in between (not that I have 2 wait long between scenarios really).
Totally love the game, and there is nothing funnier than seeing caster try and stay in melee combat with a tank... I swear some people really do assume this is WoW mk 2.
