List your top five Wipeout HD music tracks for racing to (in no particular oder):

1. Sasha - Icarus (from Wip3out)
2. Prodigy - Breathe
3. Art of Trance - Madagascar (Michael Woods Remix) perfect for cruising through a time trial
4. New Order - Confusion
5. Prodigy - Firestarter (instrumental only, Wipeout 2097 track 9)

I like most of the Wipeout 2097 and Wip3out tracks, and prefer them to those in Wipeout HD.

BTW the game is superb!

I tried some ambient stuff with Wipeout the other day and it actually fit quite nicel, especially on the Zone levels where it's a bit more mellow anyway.

In no particular order:

System Addict - Plump DJs
Asteroids - Culture Shock
Gutterpump - Noisia
The Tunnel - Ctrl Z (VIP Mix)
Painkiller - Pendulum

Mauro Picotto - Back To Cali (link)
K90 - Red Snapper (link)

Both of those are amazing in different ways, the first is possibly the greatest chillout trance song other than Saltwater by Chicane, sadly it's always overlooked by Picotto's lesser, more 'chav' anthems :(. The later, well, if this doesn't get you going, nothing will... (sadly it takes a while to get going - 2:32.).

Others:
Chemical Brothers - Chemical Beats
Chemical Brothers - Block Rocking Beats
Chicane - Saltwater
Orbital - Satan

I liked firestarter on the original, haven't played any of the other games. I quite like the Wipeout HD soundtrack though that seems to put me in the minority.

Scotty - God Is A DJ ' 08 (Steve Satellite Radio Mix)
Ladytron - destroy everything you touch - sasha invol2ver remix
Exceeder [DJ Fex Remix] - Mason (a much better bassline than the one that comes with the game)
Cold storage- Messij XTND
Firestarter (Instrumental)
