Pure... Are we getting a pc demo?

gamershell seem to have a new one up now with mirrors, looks a few hundred meg smaller as well so I guess they've just stripped out the languages and re upped it.

Well it's just my extremely limited patience. LOL. I couldn't figure out the controls so I thought "Sod this" and switched it off. I probably would have persevered a little longer had I not played the same demo on the Xbox...

it detected my 360 controller fine and i did the first lap no problems. then it was telling me i needed to use the keyboard to get boosts and do tricks? wtf.....

i guess i could have fiddled but i just didn't have the patience either.

I admin a BF2 server and we're always discussing what should/shouldn't be on our language filter and then also how to handle players swearing in a foreign language. I think these files may become useful.

Well I re-downloaded a non-corrupt version and it just sits there saying 'loading' now, bah humbug

When you 1st load up the game and you can only follow it through the menus to the 1st race, hit ESC and you see that the OPTIONS does not have any setting for RES just other Graphics settings.

Simply ESC all the way back to the final stage before game would close and then you will see a lot more OPTIONS and you can change the RES etc.

This is the full game, very rarely they will cripple Demo's (does happen though but 800x600 today would be lame).

P.S loading times are long in full game.

i was so disapointed with this last night. waited hours for it to download (then almost as long for it to load!!

Helmutcheese, does it look better at higher res? whats the full game like? any idea why it takes 3 days to load?

thinking of getting it as just a bit of fun when i'm bored with full on stalker/crysis type games.

Anyone else find that, using the 360 controller, the game hasnt set up any dead zone for the sticks, so the car veers to the left or the right without your say so ?

I left it for nearly half an hour, drive wasn't being accessed much at all, gave up at that point and ended it via taskmanager.

It looks OK at 1920x1200@100HZ but its not the best looking game and I cant quiet get the hang of the TRICKS yet that you must complete to get to full game.

I use a Logitech Cordless Rumblepad 2, and have calibrated the Analogue Sticks before gaming.

Does the 360 one let you do this ? (I'm not taking about in the game settings).

Peeps were saying a week or so ago it was not released, well the "S.American River" store sold me it.

I never mentioned it as I was playing Warhead.
